# Grove Economics

We model the Grove economics in two parts. First, by looking at two top-down models (entire US venture, and Y Combinator). Second, by building a bottom-up financial model. The entire US venture approach is a conservative lower bound measure, whereas the Y Combinator approach is a more aggressive upper bound measure of Grove network economics. The bottom-up model yields results between the upper & lower bound top-down approaches, and all models show Grove yielding unambiguously better financial outcomes for venture backed founders.
