The primary determinant of the network’s success is the quality of its participants & the returns generated from their liquidity events. To attract quality founders, Grove uses a clear set of criteria to select network participants. These are:

1. Title:
   • founder / co-founder
2. Ownership:
   • own 10% of more of the company
3. Status:
   • venture-backed
4. Fundraising:
   • Have raised $2M or more from multiple venture capital funds, or
   • Have raised $500k+ from a VC fund with AUM over $500M
